For several years my workout routine either as a teacher or student included aerobics, kickboxing, and spin, which brought on tight hips, tight calves, and shin splints. A friend of mine suggested I try Yoga.  I fell in love after my very first class. I noticed shortly after practicing for a while the therapeutic advantages of yoga as well.  I became more flexible, my hips, calves, quads, hamstrings, and shins, all improved. More importantly, my breathing improved, I started to focus more on being in the moment, and in my body.  My concentration also improved, and I felt and became more aware of my connection to the universe.

 

My love of  Yoga has lead me to share therapeutic advantages,  self-care practices, and Eastern Philosophy with others.
